do or not to do

it is so tempting everyday

i want to do something

which gives pleasure

somehow the pleasure feels right

but somehow it feels wrong

in the end, i just let go

there is a need in me

to attain wisdom

and receive instruction on what is right

before i do something

am i alone in this?

no.. train me

look where

in whatever that i do

focus on pleasing God

live to please God
not self or men

resist

tempted

by a big banquet of food?

to put coins into the jackpot hole?

by a cute guy or a girl just passed by?

by worldly persuasion?

is your flesh crying out?

because Jesus has overcame the world

then those who believe in Him

is an overcomer

stop feeding the flesh and

start feeding on His word

a bible scripture marathon

instead of a movie marathon

find great delight in Him

because Jesus said,

"Man does not live on bread alone,
but on every word that comes
from the mouth of God." -Matt 4:4
