Jesus walked on water

matthew 14:22-36

i think that walking on water

is something which is impossible to do

and after reading the scripture again

before Jesus walked on water

He actually prayed

i realized, that to accomplish anything

prayer is the key

God can perform miracle for us

"God will never call you to a task without

going with you to see it through.

He will provide all that you need."

not moving, till You move me

to just wait upon the Lord

and not making any move

until He leads me

just hold on, put it on hold

till He speaks

for these past few days

i've been struggling

but as i wait, and wait

i see that obedience produces fruits

"trust and obey"

freedom

it is not right

and i know it cannot continue to prolong

it needs to stop coz

i want to serve You wholeheartedly

i want to live out who i was created to be

i need to first take that step of faith

and in His mighty name, Jesus

breakthrough is gonna happen

He is able, He is with me thru it

and i will be freed from that stronghold forever

"do not be afraid, for I am with you.."

sacrificial love

my first love,

the one who loved me first

"This is love:
not that we loved God,
but that he loved us
and sent His son as an atoning sacrifice
for our sins." 1 John 4:10

when you love someone,
you have that person in mind
you are willing to sacrifice for that person
the love that brings good to that person

how much more for a God who loved me first
He knows me, He knows my every thought
He knows each tear that fall
He knows what i need to grow and
He knows what i need to be able to be with Him again
He did it for me
and most importantly He loves me

"He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins,
and not only for ours
but also for the sins of the whole world." 1 John 2:2

resist

tempted

by a big banquet of food?

to put coins into the jackpot hole?

by a cute guy or a girl just passed by?

by worldly persuasion?

is your flesh crying out?

because Jesus has overcame the world

then those who believe in Him

is an overcomer

stop feeding the flesh and

start feeding on His word

a bible scripture marathon

instead of a movie marathon

find great delight in Him

because Jesus said,

"Man does not live on bread alone,
but on every word that comes
from the mouth of God." -Matt 4:4

as long as it takes

when it feels like falling apart again
dont give up hope just yet
coz just a little while more
the mountains will be moved
what seemed impossible
become possible

good friday

friday was good

i've been playin chris tomlin's song

in my car, then so happen

the song "mighty is the power of the cross"

played on friday morning

and then, i remembered

of His crucifixion at Calvary

Christ died for my sins, and His death

is a victory over death

it was a sweet silent morning

just thinking about Christ

and His love for the world

had a beautiful quiet day, just reflecting

thank You for the cross

thank You Jesus

i'm alive

You can make me whole

fearfully and wonderfully made

feels like I'm tied up, what's holding me?
just praying today will be the day I go free

I want to live like there's no tomorrow
I want to dance like no one's around
I want to sing like nobody's listening
Before I lay my body down
I want to give like I have plenty
I want to love like I'm not afraid
I want to be the woman I was meant to be
I want to be the way I was made

made in Your likeness, made with Your hands
made to discover who You are and who I am
all I've forgotten help me to find
all that You've promised let it be in my life
